Residents join Superintendent for lunch

Superintendent Dr. Paul Myers updates residents at Soup's On!

Thanks to all who made the time to come out to Soup’s On! today. Every six months #FZSupt hosts a luncheon for residents ages 55 and older. It’s a chance to get together for updates from our schools and from the district, as well as Q&A and one-on-one conversation.

Dr. Myers shared the unique recognition of South High as a National Blue Ribbon School, stories from the Governor’s visit to East High to learn about our Apprenticeship Program and insight on construction projects from across the district. Attendees jumped in throughout the luncheon with questions on everything from the timeline for construction of a swimming pool to the impact of SB 190 on district finances.

Fort Zumwalt residents older than 55 can register for our next event, set for March 21, by clicking here to email Laura Wagner, Director of Communications.
